CHARLIE Curnow headlines a list of potential inclusions for Carlton’s Round 4 trip to Metricon Stadium. Curnow is one of four players who have been included in the extended squad for the Blues, alongside Matthew Kennedy, Jack Silvagni and potential debutant Liam Stocker.

All four have been named on the extended interchange bench, which will be cut down to the final team of 22 on Friday at 5pm.

Charlie Curnow has been included in the extended squad and is a chance to make his return to the side this week.

The forward will still need to complete his training requirements for the remainder of the week before confirming his selection on Sunday.

The 26-man squad which has been named for the clash against the Gold Coast Suns also includes two milestones.

Matthew Lobbe will play his 100th AFL game after being named in the ruck, while Liam Jones — who starred last weekend — will run out in the Navy Blue for the 50th time.

Mitch McGovern has been named at centre half forward for the clash with the Suns, having recovered from the hamstring injury which saw him come from the ground early last weekend.

In further positive news, Matthew Kreuzer and Darcy Lang have been named to make their returns to football via the Northern Blues on Sunday.

Sunday’s game at Metricon Stadium will begin at 2:40pm.
