THE Blues were straight back to work following the bye, hitting the track for a solid training session ahead of this week's game against Fremantle.

Carlton will make their first trip west for 2019 and face the tough task of taking on the Dockers in front of a packed Optus Stadium this Sunday afternoon.

Liam Jones and Josh Deluca were both notable presences on the track, after both players were cleared for a return to football having overcome their respective injuries.

The news was particularly good for Jones, who has not played since his concussion in the game against North Melbourne in Round 7.

WA Bluebaggers are invited to join the team for an open training session this Saturday afternoon at Optus Stadium. The light session will take place between 1:45pm and 2:30pm local time, with some opportunities for photos and autographs afterwards.
