LIAM Stocker will make his return for the Northern Blues this Sunday.

The first-year Blue will play his first game in nearly two months, after the impressive youngster was stopped in his tracks following an ankle injury.

Stocker had burst onto the scene since making his way to Carlton in the 2018 NAB AFL Draft, having impressed in his first three VFL games.

Now back in the fold, Stocker is likely to feature across half-back with stints in the midfield when Northern hosts Williamstown this Sunday.

Stocker is one of six inclusions to the fold, with Andrew Phillips returning from suspension and Alex Johnson coming back from injury.

They’re joined by AFL-listed duo Finbar O’Dwyer and Matthew Owies, along with Jono O’Rourke.

However, the Blues will have to account for Williamstown without Patrick Kerr, who will miss with a shoulder injury.

Sunday’s game commences at Preston City Oval from 1pm.

Originally scheduled for Ikon Park, the match was moved to Cramer Street back in May. The Blues will wear the orange socks synonymous with Carlton Respects in honour of Vicki Cleary.
