IT was the perfect weekend for Carlton co-captain, Kerryn Harrington.

Leading her team with aplomb in the 21-point win, the No.9 scored a perfect 10 votes in the AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year award.

It was no surprise that the coaches saw Harrington as the clear best on ground, with the All Australian collecting 21 disposals at 90 per cent efficiency, eight marks and four rebound 50s.

It was the second straight week Harrington featured amongst the votes after starring against Adelaide a week ago.

Unsurprisingly, Madison Prespakis wasn’t far behind in the eyes of the coaches.

With another 26 disposals to her name, Prespakis received eight votes: she has featured in the top two in every Carlton win this season.

The latest round sees Prespakis sit at 35 votes from five games, 10 votes behind leader Jaimee Lambert from Collingwood.

There was also room in the votes for Darcy Vescio, who played a valuable role in the forward line.

Vescio’s 11-disposal, four-tackle performance saw her receive one vote.
