The Carlton College of Sport is a partnership between the Carlton Football Club and La Trobe University that offers a unique tertiary program that provides the ultimate learning experience in a high-performance environment with professional athletes, coaches and mentors.
The Carlton College of Sport currently offers two courses:
Students in both Diplomas will complete 100 placement hours where they work closely with high-performance coaching and administration staff at the Carlton Football Club, and have the opportunity to create a strong professional network that will open doors that other university graduates don’t have access to.
Applications for 2021 open on Friday 14 August at 9am. Get your application in early as places for each Diploma are limited.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Current Year 12
- Apply Direct through La Trobe University, not through VTAC.
- No ATAR required!
- Study score of 20 in English.
- Apply now and guarantee your position, pending release of results.
Non-School Leaver
Use this method if you finished Year 12 in 2019 or earlier.
- Apply Direct through La Trobe University.
- No ATAR required!
- Upload evidence of Year 12 completion and study score of 20 in English to application to receive an offer.
If you are a current student who is completing VCAL or non-scored VCE, there are alternate pathways to study at Carlton College.
