THE CARLTON Football Club is pleased to confirm the rescheduled 2020 John Nicholls Medal will be held on Saturday 6 February 2021 at Crown Palladium.

This event will feature farewells to two of the most beloved Blues of the modern era, with the Club set to pay tribute to Kade Simpson and Matthew Kreuzer for their incredible service to Carlton.

Given the Navy Blue faithful in Victoria were unable to say goodbye to their club champions this year due to AFL and government restrictions, the Club made a decision in September to postpone its annual John Nicholls Medal.

This new date has now been set for next year in the hope a significant number of the Carlton family will be able to not only deliver fitting farewells for Simpson and Kreuzer, but also come together as one club for the first time in nearly 18 months.

There will also be an acknowledgement of this year’s AFLW season, as well as an exciting preview of the Game Changers’ 2021 campaign.

With protocols relating to public gatherings early next year still unknown, tickets are not yet available for purchase, however the Club is pleased to open up an expression of interest exclusively for Carlton members.

Members can simply click here and fill out the form to enter a ballot for the chance to purchase tickets to the event.

The Club will continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds in Melbourne over the coming months. Once greater clarity is given regarding public gatherings early next year, further information will be provided to those members who have placed themselves on the waiting list.

The John Nicholls Medal has always been an enjoyable night on the Carlton calendar, however this one is set to be truly special as the Club comes together for the first time since the pandemic began.
