Overview

After swapping Metricon Stadium for IKON Park, Charlotte Hammans had her first taste of AFLW action in her maiden season as a Game Changer.

Having been an inaugural member of the Suns' AFLW side, Hammans left her native Queensland to join the Blues in last season's trade period.

It didn't take long for Hammans to pull on her new colours, with her first game coming against Collingwood in the season opener.

Hammans tackling was a highlight of her game, as well as averaging 112.8 metres gained over her three matches.

Best performance

In Round 2 of this year, Hammans had her best performance of the season.

To go with her six disposals, Hammans' physicality was on display from the forward, laying five tackles in a back-and-forth game against the Western Bulldogs.

VFLW

Hammans has played nine games for Carlton's VFLW side so far in 2021.

Hammans has been averaging 11 disposals a game, with a career-high 18 in the Round 1 clash with Casey.

Her impressive form against the Demons continued on the weekend, accumulating eight tackles and kicking her first goal for the season in the come-from-behind win at Casey Fields last Saturday.
