THE CARLTON Reserves have named their team to take on Port Melbourne in Round 4 VFL action.

In the second of three consecutive home games at IKON Park, the Blues have welcomed back Alex Cincotta and Alex Mirkov to the fold.

Cincotta was managed last weekend for the clash with Collingwood, while Mirkov returns to the line-up after undergoing a conditioning block at training in recent weeks.

Cincotta is a key addition for the side, after he was one of the Blues’ best players in the opening game defeat to North Melbourne. On that occasion, he played in the midfield, but with the Blues a few short down back, it remains to be seen what role he plays today.

It’s once again a new-look defensive group for Carlton on the back of forced changes, with Lewis Young and Lachie Cowan both receiving AFL selection, while Dom Akuei and Billy Wilson will miss this game due to concussions sustained last weekend.

Sam Durdin is still unavailable, serving the last game of a suspension accrued in a VFL practice match.

After three goals on debut last week, Bailey Lambert (calf) will also be unavailable.

In their place, the Blues have another debutant to welcome to the fold, with Jess Gedi to make his VFL debut, having joined the Blues from Heidelberg in the off-season.

It marks 10 club debutants for the Blues inside the opening three games for Luke Power's side.

Also included in the side are Aiden Mills and young defender Logan Prout.

The Blues have seven AFL-listed players featuring, with inclusions Cincotta and Mirkov to be joined by Jaxon Binns, Harry Lemmey, Ashton Moir, Rob Monahan and Hudson O’Keeffe.

Today’s game kicks off from 2:05pm, and will be broadcast on Channel 7 as well as AFL.com.au.
