THE Carlton Football Club is proud to announce it has reached 100,000 members for the first time in its 160-year history.  

An enormous symbol of a community united by Navy Blue, this is a moment of landmark significance for generations of Carlton people.

With five sold-out matches already this season, and this Friday night’s clash against Collingwood selling out within days of tickets being released, the atmosphere within stadiums is a unique experience. 

Friday night is set to be the Blues’ fifth consecutive game at the MCG with a crowd of more than 80,000 people. 

The loyalty of Carlton families is something to be celebrated: from the longest serving member, a 103-year-old who is a 90-year consecutive member, to the newest member signed up at birth only a couple of days ago, there is a diverse community proud to wear the Navy Blue.  

Over 27 per cent of Bluebaggers have been members for 10-plus consecutive years, with 22 per cent of the entire membership base coming from interstate.  

AFLW memberships also continue to grow, currently sitting at 3,154 members ahead of the season starting in August.  

Blues CEO Brian Cook said today’s announcement is a true testament to the commitment of all Carlton people.
