Working alongside ruck coach Matthew Kreuzer and fellow rucks Marc Pittonet and Tom De Koning, Mirkov is learning what it means to be a big man in the centre, looking to snag his first senior game.
His aerial strength is something that fans can look forward to, making him a marking target not only through the middle but in the forward line as well.
Mirkov had a strong season with the Carlton Reserves - playing eight games - before missing the remainder of the season with a heart issue.
Recovering well, Mirkov will look to return stronger than ever to the 2024 pre-season.
