Carlton’s longest-serving skipper at AFLW level, Kerryn Peterson will once again captain the side in 2023 in what will be her fifth season as captain.

Initially a co-captain for two campaigns before moving into sole captaincy, Peterson’s reputation as one of the star defenders of the AFLW competition has been on the back of consistency.

A rookie signing after the inaugural season, Peterson has been crowned as an All-Australian on three occasions, rarely playing a bad game even when opposed to the best forwards in the competition.
