HUNDREDS of Carlton’s youngest members met their Carlton heroes at a packed Junior Members Clinic at Ikon Park on Monday afternoon.

At the school-holiday clinic, the Blues’ players were out in force conducting a variety of football-based drills over the hour-long session, before the junior members were able to watch on as the senior playing group hit the track in their own training session ahead of Saturday night’s clash with North Melbourne in Hobart.

Second-year player Zac Fisher said the skills-based clinics were an important avenue to connect with the Blues’ youngest members throughout the school holiday period.

“It’s always good to get out there to connect with our member base and today’s clinic was another example of that,” Fisher said.

“We took the kids through some skills and drills, and there were plenty of smiles on their faces throughout the session so as a playing group, it’s a small but important token of our appreciation to some of our youngest members of the Club.”
