Carlton's Mitch Robinson has attracted interest from multiple clubs, as the Blues attempt to offload the tough nut and Jeff Garlett.

Robinson has met with Gold Coast offiicials, according to the Herald Sun, and has also been linked to Hawthorn.

Richmond has denied it is keen to add Robinson's big body to its midfield mix.

Interest in Garlett is somewhat cooler with West Coast said to have pulled back from the talented small forward.

The Blues are a bit hard to assess, and the losses of Waite, and potentially Mitch Robinson and Jeff Garlett will probably cause some short-term pain.

But Mick Malthouse is continuing to try to shape his own version of Carlton, and the losses of a few more experienced types will give him the chance to bring in key position prospects Jaksch and Liam Jones, and livewire Jason Tutt.

Trade Whispers: Who is your club chasing?
Herald Sun

CARLTON: Has its sights set on Liam Jones and Kristian Jaksch to replace Jarrad Waite. The club is confident of securing Jones with its third round selection and also has interest in Jones’ teammate Jason Tutt.

The Blues are frantically trying to find a way to get Jaksch, who is keen on joining them, to the club but they may need a third party to lure him.

Kane Lucas remains without a contract and is looking for another home, but recruiting manager Shane Rogers hinted the 23-year-old could stay at the Blues if a trade is not secured.

“Kane’s looking for opportunities, he’s not 100 per cent on the trade table but he is out of contract,” Rogers told Trade Radio.

The Blues are keen to off-load Jeff Garlett and Mitch Robinson. Stopped chasing Sydney’s Tom Mitchell.
