All hail the Recordbreakers! So it was then, so it is now, some 20 years after Stephen Kernahan so grandly led Carlton’s ’95 team to AFL Premiership glory.

With the 2015 season now on in earnest, Carlton has initiated an Australian sporting first, in revisiting each of the 22 home and away matches and three finals matches that truly set season ’95 apart.

On a weekly basis through the course of the 2015 home and aways and finals, the club will draw on the abundant highlights (and miniscule lowlights) which made 1995 a year to remember – from the 20 home and away wins broken only by the successive losses to Sydney and St Kilda, through to the three September triumphs that afforded the Blueboys a richly-deserved and unprecedented 16th Premiership pennant.

Through Facebook and carltonfc.com.au, see round by round highlights of ’95 and immerse yourself in full match reports of a season that played out like no other – a season in which the likes of Williams, Silvagni, Dean and Bradley gave this club the gift that keeps on giving.

Sweet 16.
