SEVEN changes.

There are big rotations for Carlton this week against Port Melbourne for their Round 5 hit out.

A consistent performance for the Blues last week gives them hope of producing a similar outing. They'll want to take their opportunities to reflect their hard work on the scoreboard.

Being handed their third loss last week will make the players hungrier for the win over the Borough.

Darcy Vescio will make their return this week for the Navy Blue. A known goal kicker, the 30-year-old is just who Carlton needs this week, bringing the experience and game smarts into what is sure to be a difficult match up.

With the Blues' struggling to score in recent weeks, the inclusion of Mia Austin alongside Vescio will assist their goal-kicking woes. 

Yasmine Duursma will make her debut in the Navy Blue, ready to join the fray and continue building up the Duursma name. The 20-year-old was drafted to Port Adelaide in the 2022 AFLW draft where she was selected at pick 45.

Originally from Vic Country, Duursma has notched up 11 games at the top level and has joined Carlton where she will hone her craft in the defensive midfield.

Carlton will also be welcoming back Mimi Hill, Lily Goss, Keeley Sherar and Georgia Tait.

A big out for the Blues as Jemma Stokes will sit out this week with an injury. Stokes has been a consistent player so far this season in the ruck and her presence will be missed. 

This gives a chance for Emily Hurley to step up into the role and be the team's second ruck when needed.

Carlton will host Port Melbourne at IKON Park on Saturday, ready for the first bounce at 2pm (AEST).
