FOUR changes.

The Blues will enter their next game with some confidence as they come off a big win last week.

Carlton will be looking to make it two wins in a row as they come up against the Western Bulldogs.

Both sides are in very similar positions in the competition, but the Western Bulldogs are coming off a loss, in contrast to Carlton who are entering the game on a high of a win.

The backline and midfield will remain unchanged with positive performances in the Blues’ eight-point victory over the Borough.

After their return to the VFLW program, Darcy Vescio remains in the side after an impressive performance in Carlton’s win last week. They bring strength and experience to the team having the ability to get out of the mess while gelling well with the forwards.

Emily Hurley will remain as the ruck for the Blues with Jemma Stokes still out with injury. Hurley was impressive last week winning plenty of ball with 29 hit outs. She connected well with the midfielders who were able to work the ball around smoothly and push the ball towards their forward line.

Isabella Parnell, Katie Prendergast and Amy Trindale enter the squad this week for the Navy Blue. Marianna Anthony, Mimi Hill, Lila Keck and Georgia Tait were unavailable for Sunday’s game, giving an opportunity for more exposure at the VFLW level for the former.

Danika Di Santo, Natasha Phipps, Evie Lee and Asha Turner-Funk have been named as emergencies.

Carlton will meet the Western Bulldogs at Whitten Oval at 11am on Sunday 28 April for the first bounce.
