Carlton tagger Ed Curnow has become accustomed to running out on the big stage – but he'll be stepping out on a stage of a different kind this weekend.

Curnow is part of the stage crew for the N.I.C.K Foundation's annual theatre production, 'How the Westies Won'.

The play aims to raise awareness of youth suicide, while at the same time empowering the many young people involved in the play.

It's showing this Friday 21 March and Saturday 22 March at the Union House Theatre, University of Melbourne.

All funds raised will help the N.I.C.K. Foundation continue its work with the community.

Tickets are available at www.trybook.com/EFWU as follows:

Adult - $30
Child - $14
Student/Concession - $20
Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) - $75

The N.I.C.K Foundation was established in 2009 following the tragic loss of Nick Buttifant to suicide. Through the creation of the N.I.C.K Foundation the Buttifant family were able to overcome their own adversity and grief, by helping to give parents and today’s youth hope and belief in their future.
