MILESTONE: MATTHEW KREUZER

Carlton big man Matthew Kreuzer will play his 150th game on Sunday afternoon when the Blues battle the Giants at Etihad Stadium.

After being recruited to Carlton with the No. 1 pick in the 2007 National Draft, Kreuzer made his AFL debut in Round 3, 2008 against Essendon. He went on to receive a Rising Star nomination in Round 11 and was named the Club’s Best First Year Player at the end of the season.

The 200cm tall ruckman reaches the 150-milestone in his 10th AFL season, while in career-best form.

MILESTONE: LACHIE PLOWMAN

Carlton defender Lachie Plowman will line up for his 50th AFL game on Sunday afternoon when the Blues take on his former side, Greater Western Sydney.

The 22-year-old made his Carlton debut in Round 4, 2016 against the Western Bulldogs after being traded to the Blues from GWS at the end of 2015.

Plowman is currently ranked fourth in the league for effective disposals and has become an integral part of Carlton’s defensive structures in the early stages of his career at the Blues.

RING OF HONOUR:

Carlton’s three-time premiership player David Glascott will ring the historic old blue bell at the top of Carlton’s race 15 minutes prior to the first bounce, before being inducted to the Carlton Ring of Honour on Sunday afternoon.

Glascott made his Carlton debut in Round 3, 1981 against Fitzroy and went on to play 173 games for the Blues across a 10-year career.

Glascott featured in the Club’s premiership glory in 1981, 1982 and 1987 and was inducted into the Carlton Hall of Fame in 2001.
