IN what is becoming a premier network for businesses across Australia, Carlton IN Business, presented by Virgin Australia and CUA, hosted a networking event on Thursday evening.

Held at Alto Events Space in the city, more than 100 representatives from member companies had the chance to mingle with fellow business men and women, creating connections and sharing ideas.

Those who attended also had the chance to listen to a panel discussion led by JB Hi-Fi Group CEO Richard Murray, and the CEO and founder of Endota Spa, Melanie Gleeson.

The thought-provoking topic revolved around the changing landscape of the consumer industry and how to best engage consumers for successful business outcomes.

Carlton President Mark LoGiudice and CEO Cain Liddle were in attendance and touted the night as a huge success.

“It’s great that we can come together from different industries on these networking evenings and explore opportunities for new business,” LoGiudice said.

“As two of the leading experts in the retail industry, it was wonderful for our Carlton IN Business members to hear the insights of Richard Murray and Melanie Gleeson on Thursday night. Their knowledge of different trends and the changing landscape of the retail sector proved beneficial for everyone in the room.

“We now have 105 companies signed up to our Carlton IN Business program across Melbourne and Sydney, providing our members with an extensive network to create new and exciting business opportunities.

“As our Carlton IN Business partners, I’d like to thank Virgin Australia and CUA for making the night possible.”
