Carlton Football Club is pleased to announce a new partnership with one of Australia’s most trusted and iconic brands, Hills.

Founded in South Australia in 1945, Hills is famous for the iconic Hills Hoist that revolutionised clothes care in Australia.

Carlton CEO Steven Trigg welcomed Hills as a new partner of the Blues, further enhancing the club’s sponsorship profile for 2016.

“Like Hills, we proudly acknowledge the success of our past, but also understand the importance of approaching our journey now with renewed vigour, so we’re delighted to partner with such an iconic Australian brand,” Trigg said.

“We now look forward to working closely with Chris and his team at Hills to form a successful partnership across 2016 and beyond.”

Hills Home Living General Manager Chris O’Sullivan said the new partnership with Carlton was the most significant Hills had undertaken in recent years.

“We are really excited to partner with a foundation club and also to be a part of the wider AFL community,” O’Sullivan said.

“We’re big fans of the game and we know AFL fans are our customers. This partnership reflects our desire to be part of the everyday life of all Australians, be it inside the home or in the garden. How many times have you seen a team’s guernsey lined up on a Hills Hoist?”

Initially made from World War II scrap metal, Lance Hill’s innovative rotary clothesline soon earned its place as the ultimate Australian backyard icon. Hills also develops new products beyond clothes drying options, including laundry, garden and watering products designed to make every day easier for Australians.
