Bluebaggers, clear your diaries – we’re making history and we want you to be a part of it!

The Carlton Football Club will host its first training session for its women’s squad on Wednesday 23 November and we’re opening the gates to the Blues faithful.

Held at Ikon Park, the open training session will launch the team’s preparations for the inaugural 2017 AFL Women’s season, as they also venture into their official facilities for the first time.

Gates open from 6:45pm, before our game changers, led by senior coach Damien Keeping, hit the track at 7:00pm.

To coincide with the women’s first training session, Carlton will hold its first whole-of-club staff meeting earlier that afternoon, with all players, coaches and staff in attendance to welcome our AFLW players to the Club.

Carlton’s membership team will be on hand during the session, giving Blues fans the opportunity to get behind and support our women’s team by becoming a foundation supporter.

From as little as $25 you can have your name etched onto the changeroom facilities or for $200 you can write a message of support to the team, plus you’ll also receive a commemorative, locally made woollen scarf designed by our very own marquee player Darcy Vescio.

So be sure to join us on this historic Wednesday evening to cheer on the girls as they get set to take on the competition next year.

If you are unable to attend, you can back our game changers here.
