Young Carlton Professionals (YCP) hosted its annual Business Breakfast last Friday morning with close to 200 YCP members, sponsors and guests being treated to an entertaining panel discussion focussed on “building brands that mean something”.

Held at PwC, Carlton president Mark LoGiudice provided an update on the Club’s affairs, including an insight into the recently appointed committee responsible for the search for Carlton’s next senior coach.

Former Carlton vice-president Ryan Trainor then MC’d a highly entertaining panel discussion featuring Aesop CEO Michael O’Keeffe, Swisse CEO Radek Sali, and Erika Geraerts, founder of Frank Body and Willow & Blake. Common themes to emerge from the three panellists included the absolute necessity of connecting with and understanding your customers, the need to live and breathe your brand across the entire organisation (not just point of sale) and importance of continually striving to innovate and stay relevant.

Guests were treated to a show bag of products including Swisse vitamins, Frank Body coffee scrub and Aesop face and body creams.

YCP is hosting its next event on Friday 4 September 2015, the highly anticipated Business of Sport Luncheon to be held at Crown Palladium and featuring Carlton CEO Steven Trigg, Melbourne Victory CEO  Ian Robson and Elite Sports Properties CEO Craig Kelly.
