Meet Duke – he’s a six-year-old Great Dane and he’s the beloved best friend of Carlton backman Kade Simpson.

"Simmo" and Duke will take part in Australia’s biggest dog walk this Sunday: the RSPCA’s Millions Paws Walk.

For the 20th year, dog lovers from across Melbourne will converge on Albert Park and parade their pooches for a good cause.

Simmo will also be joined by some of his Blues teammates and their pups.

“I’m really looking forward to heading to Albert Park with Duke this Sunday, a few of the boys are coming down too,” Simpson said.

“This is a really good cause and the RSPCA does great work in our community so hopefully they can reach their fundraising target.

“If you’re free this Sunday, register and come down – you might see me and Duke there!”

The Million Paws Walk is the RSPCA’s biggest fundraiser each year with all proceeds going towards fighting animal cruelty.
