The were a really positive feeling among the team today, as we decreased the work load to a more functional and technical session. For Tuesday’s training the team was placed into three smaller sub-groups, relative to their strength level.

My group began with a technical session. We did a sharp touch session then moved into a small-scale handball game. Sam Docherty and David Ellard took control of the group, using the handball game to focus on directional voice and concentration.

We then moved into a conditioning aspect of training, where the group completed either a bike, grinder or rowing session, which lasted for 20 minutes. Meanwhile the final part of Tuesday’s training was a weights session, consisting of functional strength work.

Simon White took some time out of his busy schedule to have a quick chat.

"It was good to have a bit of a lighter day today,” White said.

“Overall, the boys are going really well and looking to keep building on a solid pre-season and stay injury free.”
