The Northern Blues will head to the Linen House Centre this Saturday in their first of three pre-season fixtures.

On the same day that Carlton hosts St. Kilda in the JLT Community Series, Northern will face Sandringham from 10am in Seaford.

The afternoon will mark the first time that the AFL, AFLW and VFL Blues all play on the same day, and will be the first time Northern plays against external opposition in 2017.

The Blues will then play host to Box Hill at Ikon Park on Friday, March 10 at 4pm (Development at 6:30pm), before heading to Punt Road to take on Richmond in a curtain raiser to the AFL season opener on Thursday, March 23.

Entry remains free for all VFL practice matches.

It was also announced last month that Northern will take on the AFL Academy in an exhibition match a week after the Round 1 clash against Port Melbourne. The Academy game will be a curtain raiser to Carlton’s Round 4 clash with the Gold Coast Suns at Etihad Stadium.

Northern Blues memberships are now available, granting entry to every home game at Preston City Oval and Ikon Park. Sign up today as the club vows to March North once more from just $30.
