Carlton’s Mitch Robinson may have to wait a few more weeks before notching up his 100th AFL game.

Robinson has been charged with striking by the AFL’s Match Review Panel and could face two weeks on the sidelines.

It comes after an incident with Collingwood’s Taylor Adams in the first quarter of Sunday night’s match at the MCG.

Based on the video evidence and a medical report from Collingwood, the incident has been assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points).

It's a total of six activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Three Offence, drawing 225 demerit points and a two-match sanction.

Robinson has an existing bad record of 68.75 demerit points, increasing the penalty to 293.75 points, which is still a two-match sanction.

An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 220.31 points  - meaning the two-match ban would stand even with an early plea.

Carlton has until tomorrow morning to decide whether to challenge the charge.

Meanwhile Magpie Dayne Beams has escaped penalty after being reported for striking Carlton’s Ed Curnow.
