Carlton has suffered a blow ahead of the Round 11 clash with Brisbane at the Gabba.

Key defender Andrew Walker has been ruled out with a sore knee, while Dennis Armfield will also miss the match with an injured calf.

Walker had a small amount of fluid drained from his knee this week and while he trained with the team today, he pulled up sore.

By resting this weekend it’s expected Walker will be right to play in next week’s match against Geelong.

But the Blues do have two handy inclusions, regaining Mitch Robinson and Andrew Carrazzo.

Robinson returns from suspension, while Carrazzo made his return from injury in the VFL last weekend.

Nick Graham, Blaine Johnson and Jaryd Cachia have been named as the emergencies.
