- Adelaide has acquired Eddie Betts Carlton

The Rumour Mill

- Carlton GM – Football Operations Andrew McKay has confirmed the Blues are interested in former Geelong players James Podsiadly and Paul Chapman

- Triple M suggested that Alan Didak could be headed to Carlton, then conceded it was “highly unlikely”

- AFL.com.au has speculated that Daniel Cross could be headed to Carlton “It is believed the Blues and Melbourne have looked at delisted veteran Western Bulldog Daniel Cross, who is determined to keep playing.”

- The Herald Sun had linked Hawks midfielder Shane Savage to Carlton, but he has since been picked up by St Kilda

- Brisbane’s talent manager says Carlton and the Bulldogs have shown interest in Lions defender Sam Docherty

- There’s been speculation Carlton is interested in Collingwood’s Heath Shaw, but the Club is unlikely to be able to match the offer Shaw is rumoured to have received from GWS

- The Blues are said to have been courting Victorian-born Fremantle midfielder Viv Michie
