Bryce Gibbs has become the second youngest player in Carlton's history to reach 150 AFL games, notching up the milestone against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday.

The 24-year-old says that playing for the Blues has been a privilege, and he's looking forward to a future in the navy blue guernsey.

"I've been at the Club for seven years now, and I'm very proud and honoured to have worn the navy blue jumper 150 times."

The Bulldogs denied Gibbs the chance to celebrate the milestone with a win, beating the Blues by 28-points.

Gibbs says result was disappointing, but the Bulldogs deserved the win.

"They were harder than us. We knew that going into the game they had a very good clearance time and they did that again today."

There are still three rounds left in the season, and Carlton still has a slim hope of making finals.

Gibbs says the challenge now for his team is to refocus, and put their heart and soul into the remaining three matches.

"It's no secret that today, like every day, was a massive game for us. However the season is still alive and we know that.

"As a team we are still growing and learning. It's time to stand up as a group - we know we have got to do that."
