Australian International Academy and Sports Education Development Australia (SEDA) students competed in the 'Field of Dreams' competition at Visy Park today. The round robin style event was held as part of the Club's Multicultural Schools Program involving secondary school aged students.

SEDA is a provider of senior secondary education that focuses on hands-on industry training, while the Australian International Academy is an Islamic school in Melbourne north. The main aim of the event was to encourage cross-cultural involvement between participants and to give the students an opportunity to play in an elite stadium.

Each game was played in good spirits and focussed on the themes of the Multicultural School Program - teamwork, respect, leadership, harmony and fair play. At the end of a very even day of competition, SEDA Northcote defeated SEDA Montmorency to win the Grand Final by 12 points.
