The winning bidder in the auction for Chris Judd's Hyundai i40 says the car will be getting plenty of use – chauffeuring around her 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren!

Gillian Archer was the first person who registered to bid for the car when the auction launched on eBay Australia on August 14.

Together with husband Robert, Gillian successfully outbid other contenders, securing the car for $30,100.

In addition, Chris Judd was on hand to personally pass on the keys, along with one of his 2013 match-day jumpers.

Gillian, who has been supporting Carlton since the 1970 grand final, says her family was in the market for a new car, and the added bonus that this one had belonged to Chris Judd made it too tempting.

"We're going to downsize our home, from a big home to a small home, so we thought we'd need a smaller car," Gillian said.

"When we saw this one was going with Judd, we thought we'd just go for it and hope for the best."

The money raised will support the Stephen Walter Children's Cancer Foundation, which raises funds for research into childhood cancer.
