Director of coaching Rob Wiley has selected this week's Plays of the Day, from Carlton's Round 2 clash with Richmond at the MCG.

First up, Wiley has highlighted the team pressure that went into a Chris Yarran goal in the second quarter.

Skipper Marc Murphy kicked from the boundary line to centre the ball, which Sam Rowe tapped down to Yarran who finished with a major.

Next is Dylan Buckley's ferocious tackle on Tiger Brandon Ellis in the goal square – saving what looked to be a certain goal.

Finally, Kane Lucas has earned praise for creating a turnover that led to Bryce Gibbs booting a brilliant goal from the boundary.

The same passage of play has also been nominated by AFL Media in its list of top 10 moments from Round 2.
