Recent form
Both teams have had a chance to rest up and recuperate; the Blues had a bye in Round 9, while Adelaide defeated Collingwood in a Thursday night upset at the Adelaide Oval.

Adelaide’s win over Collingwood lifted the Crows to 10th on the ladder with four wins and four losses. The match also marked Taylor Walker’s first game back from the serious knee injury he suffered in Round 5 against Carlton last year. The 24-year-old had an impressive return gathering 17 possessions, although he struggled to hit the scoreboard kicking 0.4.

Finding the goals proved no issue though for Adelaide forward Josh Jenkins – Jenkins booted four goals while midfielder Patrick Dangerfield showed he’s in red-hot form with 32 disposals.

Carlton went into the bye in winning form after defeating St Kilda by 32 points. The win elevated the Blues to 13th on the ladder with the ledger standing at three wins and five losses so far this year. Carlton will be looking to build some momentum and will no doubt take confidence from the win over the Saints.

Possible team changes

The Blues will be forced to make at least one change with Mitch Robinson accepting a one-match suspension. Several key players could be in line for a recall including Jarrad Waite, Andrew Carrazzo and Tom Bell.

The Crows managed to beat the Pies without any casualties so may be inclined to name an unchanged side. After regaining some match fitness Taylor Walker will be one to watch up forward.
