Earlier this week Carlton players spent the afternoon enjoying a kick-to-kick with more than 500 local Auskick participants from Melbourne's northern corridor.

The clinic, which is held in conjunction with AFL Victoria, Victoria Police and Sports Education Development Australia (SEDA), was held at Preston City Oval.

The afternoon was filled with players sharing a few footy tips and signing an autograph or two.

Carlton's Fan Development and Community Co-ordinator Adrian Asdagi says the Club's involvement in the community is a top priority.

"Melbourne's northern metropolitan suburbs are Carlton's heartland,” Asdagi said.

"So this was a great opportunity for the playing group to engage our junior fans in the region.

"The poor weather didn't stop Auskick participants from enjoying themselves and I'm sure it was an experience they'll remember for a long time."
