Carlton could regain Rising Star nominee Troy Menzel for Friday night’s clash with North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.
Menzel missed the match against Sydney after copping a heavy knock to his shoulder the previous week.
Blues vice-captain Andrew Carrazzo is a possible, but unlikely, inclusion. He’s recovering from a quad injury and will be monitored at training this week.
Jarrad Waite (calf) and Dylan Buckley (hand) will also be tested at training and could return from injury via Carlton’s VFL affiliate the Northern Blues.
Meantime defender Andrew Walker will miss the rest of the season.
The 28-year-old has been commended for his courage after managing 14 games this season, despite battling a knee complaint. He’ll undergo an arthroscopy this week.
While Cameron Giles has been placed on the Blues’ long-term injury list after being ruled out for the rest of the season following surgery on his injured foot.
