Kade Simpson began the season on a high after inking a new two-year deal, which will keep him at the Blues until at least the end of 2016.
Last year’s John Nicholls Medalist enjoyed another stellar season, coming a close second to Bryce Gibbs in producing the Club’s top disposals for the year, averaging 23.6 per game.
The vice-captain was also one of only three Carlton players to run out for all 22 games.
Simpson’s efforts outside of football were also recognised after he was selected as a finalist for the 2014 Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award.
Simpson, who’s an ambassador for Down Syndrome Victoria, has helped in raising more than $30,000 for the organisation.
And to cap off the year the 30-year-old took out third place in Carlton’s 2014 John Nicholls Medal.

SEASON HIGHLIGHT
Kade Simpson was prolific and courageous in Carlton’s five-point win over Adelaide in Round 10, gathering a total of 36 possessions and 11 marks.
