Pick 63: Jayden Foster

Pick 63: Jayden Foster Carlton has used its final selection in the 2014 NAB AFL National Draft to select Jayden Foster.
Jayden Foster

Club: Calder Cannons
DOB: 1/6/1995
Height: 194cm
Weight: 91kg

Jayden Foster has earned a healthy reputation as a high-flying, pack-marking forward who can pinch-hit as a ruckman. Considered a talented key-forward prospect, Jayden's father Peter was a 170-game player for both Fitzroy and Footscray.

AFL.com.au says: Sidelined for more than three months last year with a stress fracture in his foot, Foster returned as an over-age player with the Calder Cannons in the TAC Cup this year and quickly showed his skills in the forward line. A 194cm weapon, the son of former Western Bulldog Peter Foster kicked 49 goals in 16 matches, adding 10 possessions and four marks per game. The Dogs decided against nominating Foster as a father-son pick.
