Carlton could regain Michael Jamison and Andrew Walker for Saturday's clash with the Western Bulldogs, but Troy Menzel and Andrew Carrazzo are in doubt.

Jamison looks set to return to the senior side after recovering from a calf injury and playing two games with the Northern Blues, while Walker could return from his niggling knee.

But Head of Football Andrew McKay says Carrazzo and Menzel will be tested at training this week after suffering injuries in the win over the Gold Coast.

"(Menzel) had a scan yesterday … certainly no damage to the knee joint, just some bone bruising so we will test him later in the week," McKay said.

"It's still quite sore .. it will just be a matter of whether Troy can tolerate the discomfort.

"Andrew Carrazzo hurt his toe last week in the game against the Gold Coast. We're just taking some weight off that toe at the moment, so he's on modified training.

"We're hopeful it will come up – it's just a sprained toe joint."

Meanwhile young Irishman Ciaran Byrne is expected to return from his hamstring injury with the Northern Blues.

Injury List:

Byrne (hamstring) test
Carrazzo (toe) test
Giles (foot) indefinite
Judd (knee) retired
Menzel (knee) test
Sheehan (groin) 7 weeks
Thomas (shoulder) season
Walker (knee) test
