OVERVIEW
It was a tough year on the injury front for Andrew Walker, who struggled with an ongoing knee concern. The injury restricted him to just 12 games, two less than last season.

After missing the first two games, Walker played his first match in Round 3 against Essendon. Although the Blues lost the match it was a successful comeback, with Walker gathering 20 disposals, six marks and a goal.

Round 9 marked a special occasion for the keeper of the No. 1 jumper. Walker’s uncle from Yorta Yorta nation (near Echuca) designed Carlton’s Indigenous Round guernsey, which the team wore when they took on the Swans at the SCG.

Meanwhile a season highlight for Walker was Carlton’s Round 21 win over Melbourne. The 29-year-old booted four goals in what marked Chris Judd’s farewell at the MCG.
