There were plenty of contributors for the Blues in their 38-point victory over Brisbane at Etihad Stadium on Saturday, but whose stats had the biggest say on the result?

Carlton Media picks its top-five most influential player stats from Round 11:

Sam Kerridge
Career-high 30 disposals, 16 marks

With injured captain Marc Murphy on the sidelines and Bryce Gibbs (12 disposals) negated, Sam Kerridge stood up in the Blues’ midfield to record career-high numbers in disposals and marks. Twenty-two of Kerridge’s 30 disposals came in a dominant second half for the No.11, whose hard running into space also saw him notch up a team-high 22 uncontested possessions.

Jacob Weitering
Game-high 7 intercept marks

Jacob Weitering continues to amaze with his ability to command Carlton’s defence at just 18 years of age. The No.1 draft pick - opposed to No.2 draft pick Josh Schache for the majority of the game – allowed barely anything to penetrate his territory with a game-high 10 intercepts and seven intercept marks. It’s hard to imagine many players who could boast such elite positioning and composure at 18.

Sam Docherty
Team-high 6 rebound 50s

Sam Docherty had just six touches in the first half, but collected 14 disposals in another impressive performance. Despite being down on his usual output this season, the dashing defender provided plenty of drive out of defence against his old side with a team-high six rebound 50s. Kade Simpson was next best in this category with five, while Mitch Robinson (four) was the Lions’ highest.

Ed Curnow
Game-high 12 tackles

Ed Curnow had a game-high 12 tackles against Brisbane – five higher than the Blues’ next best Nick Graham. He also led Carlton for pressure acts (26) in what was a typical Curnow performance. The hard-working midfielder is clearly in career-best form heading into his 100th game in Sunday’s clash against St Kilda.

Jed Lamb
Career-high 3 goals

Jed Lamb was lethal in the Blues’ forward half against Brisbane. The former Swan and Giant had an equal team-high three goal assists and a career-high three goals to his name, converting every shot on goal. Though he only had 13 possessions, he used most of them to damaging effect.
