Women's games free

Jakobsson 'absolutely overwhelmed' Carlton Media spoke to Bianca Jakobsson after being selected with Carlton's first selection in the AFL Women's draft.

It’s going to be very easy for Bluebaggers to support Carlton’s women’s team next year.

With the competition kicking off in February, the Club can confirm all standalone games will be free to attend – so everyone can watch our girls in action!

Although games will be free to access, we encourage all Carlton supporters to be part of history and back the Blues’ game changers, by signing up as a foundation supporter.

From as little as $25 you can have your name printed on the change room facilities, for $60 you can become a True Blue supporter, or for $200 you can write a personalised message to the girls, plus take home a commemorative, locally made woollen scarf.

Proceeds will help upgrade and renovate the women’s facilities at Ikon Park.

Nineteen new recruits were signed to the team last week via the inaugural AFLW draft, with three more free agents to be secured in the coming weeks, completing the squad of 27.
