A mix of experience and new recruits have been named in the Blues’ side ahead of their first hit-out in the JLT Community Series against Melbourne on Saturday at Casey Fields.

Captain Marc Murphy and reigning John Nicholls Medallist Sam Docherty have both been named, while veterans Kade Simpson, Bryce Gibbs and Dale Thomas have both been included in the Blues’ 29-man squad to face the Demons.

New recruits including Caleb Marchbank, Billie Smedts, Jarrod Pickett and Rhys Palmer look set to pull on the navy blue guernsey for the first time since arriving at Ikon Park. Meanwhile, exciting first-year players Zac Fisher, Kym Lebois, Cameron Polson have also all been named in the Blues’ squad.
