CARLTON Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Agresta to the role of List Manager.

Agresta joins the Blues from the Sydney Swans, where he served in the role of National Recruiting Manager for seven years.

Reporting into the GM of List Management and Strategy Stephen Silvagni, the 39-year-old will focus on player acquisition and list management, as well as other key areas of the football department including TPP and compliance.

In a further boost to its recruiting department, Carlton has secured the services of Dale Bleach, who arrives at Ikon Park from his time at Hawthorn Football Club in the role of Recruiting Officer.

GM List Management and Strategy Stephen Silvagni said he was delighted to welcome two new additions to the list management and recruitment department.

“Following a recent review, we have bolstered our department with the additions of Mick and Dale to enable us to achieve our strategic objectives,” Silvagni said.

“Mick was the ideal candidate for our List Manager role and brings a wealth of experience from a very successful period at the Swans. He will have a strong focus on player acquisition as well as list management.

“We also recently welcomed Dale to Ikon Park in the role of Recruiting Officer, and the experience and strengths he will bring to the role will complement Mick and our recruiting team.

“We had five Rising Star nominations, two players nominated in the All Australian squad, and 21 players renew their contracts during the course of last year. And both Mick and Dale have come from successful teams in Sydney and Hawthorn respectively so their belief in the direction of our football club with a young, developing list is certainly exciting.”

Paul Brodie continues in the role of National Recruiting Manager, with Michael Jordan, Dale Harris and Brett Potter remaining in recruiting officer roles.

The Club recently announced Priority Care as the list management and recruiting team’s official partner, with the company’s logo featured on the recruiters’ apparel.

Agresta will commence his role at Ikon Park on Monday 5 February.
