But the Blues season came to an end, against Sydney in the Semi-Finals at ANZ Stadium.

OVERVIEW
Chris Judd stepped aside from the Carlton captaincy in Season 2013, saying he was “looking forward to getting back to enjoying the essence of footy and not having as much responsibility around the Club”.
Despite handing over the reins, the dual Brownlow Medalist has remained a leader on and off the field at Carlton, his on-field feats highlighted by leading the charge in the Elimination Final comeback against the Tigers.
In May 2013, Judd signed a new contract with Carlton, keeping him at Visy Park until the end of 2014. Beyond that, the 30-year-old says his football career will be a year-to-year proposition.

Judd ran out for his 250th AFL match in Carlton’s Round 12 clash with Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium. He finished the match as a standout for the Blues, with 29 possessions, nine clearances and a goal.
