After making his VFL debut for the Northern Blues last weekend, Carlton youngster Zac Fisher will take the field for his first AFL game when the Blues battle Gold Coast at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night. 

Hailing from Western Australia, the 18-year-old is known for his craft on-ball and was selected by Carlton with pick No.27 in the 2016 national draft.

The left-footer featured in the first two of Carlton’s JLT Community Series hit-outs this year, and will sport his No.25 guernsey for the first official time when the Blues line up to face the Suns.

RING OF HONOUR: ANTHONY KOUTOUFIDES

Carlton’s 1995 premiership player Anthony Koutoufides will ring the historic old Blue bell at the top of Carlton’s race 15 minutes prior to the first bounce, before being inducted into the Carlton Ring of Honour on Saturday night.

Koutoufides played 278 games for the Blues between 1992 and 2007 and captained the side for three years between 2004 and 2006.

After making his debut for Carlton in Round 13, 1992 against Adelaide, ‘Kouta’ went on to win the Club’s best and fairest in 2001 and 2005, achieved All-Australian selection in 1995 and 2000 and in 2014 he was inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame, seven years after hanging up his boots.

Etihad Stadium’s Car Park is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with more than 2,500 undercover car parks available. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

Southern Cross Station is located adjacent to Etihad Stadium and can be accessed via a short walk across the Bourke Street pedestrian footbridge. 

City trams run to Etihad Stadium from La Trobe Street and Harbour Esplanade. 

Trams also stop in the CBD on Spencer Street, Bourke Street and Collins Street and all are a short walk to Etihad Stadium.
