Blues and birdies were the main things on the agenda at last week’s Corporate Golf Day, proudly presented by Ikon Services.

Held at Eynesbury Homestead and Golf on Thursday, the day saw Carlton players and coaches unite with club officials and sponsors in the spirit of healthy competition.

The playing group and coaches were well-represented, with Patrick Cripps, Jess Hosking, John Barker, Daniel Harford and many more joined by new recruits Mitch McGovern, Nic Newman and rookie Hugh Goddard.

Individually, bragging rights went to Dale Thomas, who took home the Drummond Golf Melbourne longest drive competition.

Representatives from Barkly Smokehouse, CUA, D.O.C, Ikon Services, MC Labour, Smash Enterprises and Virgin Australia were on hand to compete.

However, come the end of the afternoon, it was the team from Hyundai which took home the quartet of Ikon Services ‘blue jackets’.

The support of Ikon Services cannot be understated, with their contributions and commitment undoubtedly making the day what it was - a great success.

The Club also wishes to extend a big thank-you to Brad Alton and the team at Eynesbury for all their hard work in ensuring the day was a success, Carl Greco and Barkly Smokehouse for providing the delicious hospitality on the 10th, and Ross Flannigan from Drummond Golf for providing the winning prizes.
