Who can enter? |
Only Australian residents who: (a) are aged 18 or over; (b) for Entry Period 1 only, are a 2020 member of Carlton Football Club; and (c) are able to register a car in their relevant state/territory of residence. Membership of the Carlton Football Club (and, consequently, participation in this competition) is subject to the terms and conditions which apply to the membership of the Carlton Football Club available at https://am.ticketmaster.com/carlton/terms-conditions-0#/, as amended from time to time. |

Entry instructions |
To enter, you must, during an Entry Period:a) click the entry link in the promotional email you receive from the Promoter and follow the instructions to confirm your entry; or b) locate and click the competition post on the Carlton Football Club Facebook or Instagram and fill out and submit the online entry form. For the avoidance of doubt, Entry Period 1 is only open to 2020 members of Carlton Football Club. The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry. |

What can I win? |
There will be 79 winners determined in respect of this competition – 78 minor winners and 1 major winner Minor prizes Each minor prize is the first letter of your first name followed by your surname placed above the Carlton Football Club logo on the guernsey of a randomly allocated Carlton football player to be worn on Game Day. After the Game Day each player will sign the guernsey and it will be posted to your residential address (as nominated at the time of signing up as a Carlton Football Club member (Entry Period 1 only) or as submitted in the online entry form), valued at $150. Guernseys will be washed prior to postage. The Promoter is not responsible for any damage to a guernsey during the course of a game and if any damage occurs, you will be awarded that same guernsey. No replacement guernsey will be provided. There is a limit of one minor prize per person (except for SA residents). Major prize The major prize is a Hyundai QX VENUE WG ACTIVE 1.6P, Auto, typhoon silver (including all statutory and on-road costs) valued at $25,960. The prize does not include third party or comprehensive insurance or any accessories not specified. If you are the winner, to claim the vehicle prize you must attend the dealership nominated by the Promoter to collect it. You must provide all information and sign all documents required to allow the Promoter to register the vehicle in your name before collection. You must be able to register and operate the vehicle in your name in accordance with applicable laws. |

How will the winners be chosen? |
There will be 4 draws (3 minor prize draw and 1 major prize draw) conducted. Minor Prize Draws Each Minor Prize Draw will be held at Gadens Lawyers - Collins Arch, Level 13, 447 Collins Street Melbourne 3000 (Gadens), as follows:
Each of the above dates will be determined once the AFL releases further fixtures of the 2020 AFL season. The first 26 valid entries drawn randomly in each Minor Prize Draw from the entries received during the relevant Entry Period will win a minor prize and be a Minor Prize Winner. Prior to each Game Day, each Minor Prize Winner will be randomly allocated a number of a Carlton football player that will be playing in the corresponding Game Day, including emergency players (if relevant). Entries received in respect of each Minor Prize Draw will roll over to subsequent draws excluding Minor Prize Winners. Major Prize Draw The Minor Prize Winners' names worn by the top five Carlton players in each Game Day (determined by Champion Data) will automatically be entered into the major draw Major Draw Entrants). There will be 1 major draw conducted. The major draw will be held at 12pm (AEDT) on 13/10/2020 at Carlton Football Club, 400 Royal Parade, Carlton North 3051. The first valid entry drawn randomly from the Major Draw Entrants received during the Competition Period will win the major prize. Reserve entries The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants). |

How and when will the winner/s be informed? |
Minor Prize Winners will be notified in writing by email within two business days of the Minor Prize Draw. Major Draw Entrants will be notified in writing by email within two business days of the Game Day. The major winner will be notified by phone and in writing by email within two business days of the major draw and will have their name and state/territory of residence published on carltonfc.com.au on 15/10/2020 for a period of 28 days. |

Unclaimed major prize |
Major prize claim date: 12pm (AEDT) on 13/01/2021 Unclaimed major prize determination: 12.30pm (AEDT) on 13/01/2021 at the same location as the original draw. If the major prize has not been accepted or claimed by the major prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by the major prize claim date above, the relevant entry/ies will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the major prize to a Reserve Entrant or carry out an unclaimed major prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the major prize to a valid entrant. Any winner will be informed: · by phone; and · in writing by email within two days of determination. The winner will have their name and state/territory of residence published on the carltonfc.com.au on 15/01/2021 for a period of 28 days. |

The Promoter may disclose your personal information to the Promoter's related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting this competition, communicating with you or storing data. By entering, you consent to the Promoter keeping your personal information on its database to use for future marketing purposes, including contacting you by electronic messaging. By entering, you consent to receive email or SMS messages from the Promoter without any functional unsubscribe facility. If you have marked the “opt-in” box on the entry form relating to Hyundai Motor Company Australia Pty Limited using your personal information for future marketing purposes, you consent to your personal information being kept on its database and being contacted by electronic messaging. Entry
2 Your entry must be received during an Entry Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. You will receive a return message confirming your entry. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
Prizes
3 You are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to the prize, including insurance (including excesses) and costs associated with ongoing use of the prize, etc.
4 Where relevant, the Promoter accepts no responsibility if one or more of the events or activities awarded as part of the prize are abandoned, called off or postponed for any reason including any cancellation due to COVID-19. In that case you forfeit your entitlement to that event/activity. Similarly, while the Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the participation of any specified player/s in the prize element/s, the Promoter and prize suppliers exclude, so far as legally permissible, all liability if for any reason the player/s do not attend the prize element/s due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and prize suppliers (e.g. illness). Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute for this altered prize element.
General
5 Any failure by you to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier(s) may result in the prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter or the prize supplier(s).
6 If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions, your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
7 You must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
8 The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
9 The Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
10 Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor (except where cash is specified) redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
11 If publication will take place, by entering, you request that your full address not be published.
12 If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
13 The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
Liability
14 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
15 Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
16 Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prize/s, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prize/s (where relevant). Unless otherwise specified, prize/s will only be delivered to addresses in Australia.
17 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform. You completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
