HERE’S where things stand from an injury perspective for Carlton leading into Round 4 of the AFL season. 

Marc Pittonet (back)

Pittonet got a knock to his back during last weekend’s game. He will continue to be assessed as the week goes on and is currently a test to play. 

Oscar McDonald (back)

McDonald’s back was allowed to settle last week. He will train fully tomorrow and is a chance to return through the VFL, based on how he pulls up from the session. 

Jack Carroll, Corey Durdin, Jesse Motlop and Tom Williamson (AFL Health and Safety Protocols) 

All four players are due out of isolation early next week and will commence their preparations for Round 5 upon their return. 

Adam Saad (AFL Health and Safety Protocols) 

Saad will be available to return to action this weekend. 

Sam Philp (ribs) 

Philp will be available to return through the VFL this weekend. 

Josh Honey (knee) 

Honey has now returned to full training. He has entered a performance block of training and is a chance to return to play in the next fortnight.

Jack Carroll AFL Health and Safety Protocols Due out of isolation early next week and will commence his preparations for Round 5 upon return. (Update: 7 April) 
David Cuningham Knee Currently in a performance conditioning block prior to his return to skills training. When he has completed the required workload over the coming month, he will look to integrate back into the skills program. (Update: 23 March) 
Ed Curnow Knee Sustained a medial ligament injury from a tackle in the VFL practice match win over Richmond. No surgery is required, but he is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks. (Update: 23 March) 
Corey Durdin AFL Health and Safety Protocols Due out of isolation early next week and will commence his preparations for Round 5 upon return. (Update: 7 April) 
Josh Honey Knee Has returned to full training and is progressing well. He needs a solid training block over the next three weeks, with his availability to play to be assessed after that. (Update: 23 March) 
Caleb Marchbank Knee Has returned to the skills program: needs a good block of skills conditioning before his return to play. That training block will be his focus for the next month, with his timeline to return to play to be assessed after that. (Update: 23 March)
