FIVE new Blues, one big stage.

The Game Changers have named a 25-person squad to take to the hallowed turf of the MCG to face Melbourne in their first official practice match before season seven.

Carlton fans will get their first look at new draftees Keeley Skepper, Mia Austin and Jessica Jones, who will get their first taste at AFLW level at the home of football.

Amelia Velardo and Phoebe McWilliams will also wear their new colours for the first time officially, after arriving at IKON Park during trade period.

Lucy McEvoy and Lily Goss will not play due to injury, while Brooke Walker and Gab Pound will be unavailable and new Blue Taylor Ortlepp will be managed.

The Blues will be looking to build on the positive signs shown during their last meeting with the Dees, when they were defeated by a single point after producing arguably their best performance of AFLW season six against the eventual Grand Finalists.

The first bounce will be at 4:40pm AEST, before the AFL sides take to the field soon after at 7:25pm.

The double header forms part of a historic weekend for the AFL and AFLW with all 18 teams in action for the first time, as well as playing the same opponent in both competitions.

Gates will open at 4:15pm with AFLW members able to access the game free of charge using their digital member ticket. All other patrons must have a valid ticket to the AFL Round 22 Melbourne v Carlton game to attend.

Tickets can be purchased here.
