CARLTON midfielder Blake Acres had his rough conduct charge upheld by the AFL Tribunal tonight.

Acres was charged for an incident that occurred in the fourth quarter of the Blues’ Round 3 win over GWS, which was graded as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

The Club contested the charge, and had it unsuccessfully overturned at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.

Acres will serve a one-game suspension and will miss the Round 4 Good Friday SuperClash against North Melbourne.
